Talking points

History not on Brisbane's side
The Bullets have one just won of the last 14 games against Melbourne United, which will be a tough streak to snap against the only undefeated team in the league.

The promising sign for the Bullets is that they should be full of confidence after their demolition of Perth at RAC Arena on Wednesday night. With Casey Prather playing at an MVP level, this might be the perfect time to strike for Stu Lash's team.

Edwards vs Harrison
Jesse Edwards has quietly put together one of the best starts to the season of any player in the league, as his team sits top of the standings without a loss.

The Dutch big man will have a great test in this game, with Bullets big man Tyrell Harrison fresh off his best game of the year in Perth. Two NBA-level talents locking horns and only one can come out on top.

What they're saying

Bullets coach Stu Lash praising big man Tyrell Harrison's performance against Perth:
"Tyrell was due [for a big game tonight], as the last two games he's had a hard time finding a rhythm.

"We came in tonight [with a focus on] offensive rebounds, ball movement, and on a big boy game from him. We wanted to establish that presence early. JLA (Jo Lual-Acuil Jr) is a tremendous player, [so it's a big matchup], but there was a focus from us from the very start to get Tyrell going.

"[His] play inside then opened up our outside [players]. I thought he was phenomenal."

United's Tyson Walker on Friday's clash with Brisbane:
“We’ve got to go out there and compete,” Walker said.

“We know they’ve got talented players so we just have to figure out ways to slow them down.”
