Going into Season 2 of NBA 2K24, Harry (RealHvzn) has had over six weeks to experiment with the game.

His life changed with 2K23, winning the NBA 2K League Australia Invitational which secured his spot on NBL Oz Gaming. Sending him to Washington to compete in the NBA 2K League, where the team made the 5v5 Grand Finals Series.

But going into season two of his career, Harry has had to adapt to a new game and change position.

With the acquisition of Ceez, Harry will slide over to shooting guard for next season, with his off-season being spent experimenting with his new role.

“I'm moving to sharpshooter now, so for No Way Out (In the ANZPL), I'm playing sharp as well,” he said.

“Sometimes guarding the point guard when they try to get switches and stuff like that. So I've been working on my defence, which is obviously a big part of NBL Oz Gaming and how we play.”

Harry explained that adjusting from 2K23 to 2K24 has not been as simple as putting in a new disc, the entire metagame has changed and is more focused on defence over offence.

“It's a very defensive-orientated game. It's hard to shoot at times and hard to get open,” he explained.

“It can be very difficult and frustrating, so it's very different from last year. (2K23) favoured the offence, but this year definitely favours the defence, so the games are a lot different.”

The biggest change for Harry may be his teammates on the court. Bringing in Season Six All-Star Bagmotion and the aforementioned Ceez from Hawks Talon GC. He explained that he’s excited to play with them and already has some chemistry with them from last season in the States.

“I spoke to Bag when I was in America because their room was next to us. So I already like Bag, he’s really cool,” Harry said.

“I'm really happy about Bag because he's gonna be a great teammate and he's one of the best people I met. And then Ceez is really good, he's always a great dribbler so I'm looking forward to being able to bounce things off him and learn from him.”
