Harrison delivers "big boy" performance

Brisbane coach Stu Lash credited Tyrell Harrison for delivering a big performance against Perth and Jo Lual-Acuil Jr on Wednesday.
After back-to-back quiet games, Stu Lash knew big man Tyrell Harrison was "due" for a monster performance.
And boy did he deliver on Wednesday night.
The Tall Blacks international, who played for the Denver Nuggets during the 2025 NBA Summer League, produced a massive 27 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block to power Brisbane to a 110-93 Ignite Cup win over Perth at RAC Arena.
"Tyrell was due [for a big game tonight], as the last two games he's had a hard time finding a rhythm," Bullets coach Stu Lash said during Wednesday's post-game press conference.
"We came in tonight [with a focus on] offensive rebounds, ball movement, and on a big boy game from him. We wanted to establish that presence early. JLA (Jo Lual-Acuil Jr) is a tremendous player, [so it's a big matchup], but there was a focus from us from the very start to get Tyrell going.
"[His] play inside then opened up our outside [players]. I thought he was phenomenal."
Harrison was well supported in the victory by import Casey Prather, who tallied 34 points and 10 boards.
The Bullets, who are now 2-4, have a quick turnaround, hosting the undefeated Melbourne United on Friday from 7.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
