Basketball in Tasmania continues to go from strength-to-strength.

On the back of their strong performances last season, the JackJumpers have sold out their allocation of memberships for the upcoming NBL season ... in just 26 minutes.

After making the Hungry Jack's NBL Grand Final Series in its inaugural season, Tasmania will be looking to build again for NBL23. The JackJumpers' amazing was one of the stories of Australian sport in 2022.

Tasmania CEO Simon Brookhouse says the club is ecstatic at the levels of support it is receiving from the local community.

“We’re thrilled to have such a demand for memberships as we head into our second season,” Brookhouse said.

“Our Ant Army have shown that they’re the most passionate fans in the league and we cannot wait to get back playing in front of them in October.”

The JackJumpers kick off their season on October 1 with an away trip to take on South East Melbourne. They'll play in front of their passionate fans later in the round, on October 3 against the Cairns Taipans at MyState Bank Arena.

The JackJumpers have also announced two pre-season games against the Phoenix in their home state.
