Former Sydney Next Star Makur Maker has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Toronto Raptors.
Former Sydney Kings Next Star Makur Maker is continuing his NBA journey next season, signing an Exhibit 10 training contract with 2019 NBA champions Toronto.
Exhibit 10 contracts consist of a 12 month training camp deal with the club, and the team retains the NBA G-League rights of the player should their contract not be converted to a two-way deal.
Maker made 21 appearances for the Kings in the NBL22 season, and represented the Capital City Go-Go – the affiliate of the Washington Wizards – in the NBA G-League last season.
He began his journey with the Wizards by signing an Exhibit 10 deal last season.
He also represented Philadelphia at the recent NBA Summer League.
Maker played 30 games (21 starts) for the Go-Go last season, and averaged 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
