Fans to challenge Lowery in Beat The Coach

NBL expert Damon Lowery has been unveiled as the new high-profile individual fantasy players will take on for a piece of the $10k prize draw in Beat The Coach.

And the former NBL champion has a message for all the fans he will be going up against - 'I'm no pushover'.

“I’ve taken this role to provide some leadership and inspiration,” Lowery said.

“I’m the gatekeeper to all of those who think they know the game. I’m the protector of the game.”

In the new weekly fantasy format, Lowery, who played 185 NBL games during her career, will pick a fresh starting six every round of the NBL season that scores points using the SuperCoach formula which rewards points scored, rebounds, assists and more.

The challenge is for every coach to pick their own team in a bid to score more SuperCoach points than Lowery.
