Perth head coach John Rillie remains unconcerned about the Wildcats' current import holes.

Perth Wildcats coach John Rillie says the club will not rush into signing its final two imports and are prioritising the importance on finding the right fit.

With the start of Perth’s training camp just a week away, Rillie isn’t concerned about the holes on the roster.

Instead, the head coach is sticking to the plan of recruiting the best import to complement a core of Bryce Cotton, Keanu Pinder and the Webster brothers - Corey and Tai.

“Between myself and (basketball GM) Danny Mills, we are making sure we are comfortable and we feel confident that we’re making the right decision, and we’re finding the right pieces to complement what we already have,” Rillie told The West Australian.

“You just need to find the guy you feel can help. They need to be a great piece to the puzzle and someone we can rely on consistently to perform at a high level in the NBL.”

The Wildcats will play two pre-season games against an NBL1 West Select Team on August 25 and August 27 before heading to America in September to face G-League Ignite.

They will then hit the Gold Coast for the NBL Blitz, before tipping off the regular season on September 29 against the Tasmania JackJumpers.
