The changing of the guard at Melbourne United has continued, with the club announcing that Tyson Walker won’t be returning for the Hungry Jack’s NBL27 Season.

This comes as the American guard, who averaged 14.3 points, 4.4 assists and 2.8 rebounds in NBL26, penned a deal with French outfit JL Bourg-en-Bresse for next season.

“One of our most exciting imports, Tyson, made an immediate impact in NBL26,” United said via a club statement.

“We thank Tyson for everything he brought to Melbourne United.”

Walker’s departure follows in the footsteps of coach Dean Vickerman, forward Finn Delany and young guns Campbell Blogg and Tom Koppens leaving the club.

Adding to that change, Aussie hoops icon Joe Ingles, Tall Blacks international Sam Waardenburg and Christian D’Angelo are all joining the club for next season.

Other players on United’s roster for NBL27 include Shea Ili, Fabijan Krslovic, Kyle Bowen and Dash Daniels.
