Ninnis Provides Missing Ingredient

Adelaide assistant coach Scott Ninnis is back with the 36ers to provide head coach CJ Bruton the ingredient to succeed next season.

Ninnis is no stranger to the 36ers, having been a part of the franchise’s four championships on both sides of the coin – twice as a player and twice as an assistant coach.

Ninnis left the club in 2010, but there's certainly no doubting his ability to find the recipe for success.

“I met with CJ last week and basically I said I’m just here to help in any way possible,” Ninnis told Newscorp.

Ninnis’ experience and history with the club has urged him to return with a clear vision on how he will help Bruton and the team develop.

“I’ve been out of the NBL for a number of years, but I would see my strengths as being player management and relationships and making sure everyone stays on the same page and being that go between CJ and the players,” he said.

“Hopefully that’s an area I can help in and make sure we’re all swimming in the same direction.”

The 36ers’ season will tip-off on Friday September 29 at 7:30pm AEST. Adelaide’s new signing, Jason Cadee, will face his former Brisbane Bullets team in Round 1.
