Marshall registered a strong double-double of 33 points and 14 boards, however uncontracted Phoenix centre Dane Pineau’s 12 points and 11 rebounds helped push the Sabres over the line.

Former Tasmania teammates Isaac White and Sean Macdonald locked horns in NBL1 North, where White continued his remarkable form to lead Mackay to another win.
White was once again on triple-double watch and finished the game with 34 points, nine rebounds and six assists, while Macdonald struggled from the field to add 12 points on just 31 per cent shooting.
