New Tasmania signing Anthony Drmic was a standout in the West Adelaide Bearcats' dominant 26-point win over the Eastern Mavericks, and scored a game-high 37-point double-double.

Drmic also added 12 rebounds and a pair of steals, while his former Adelaide teammate Mitch McCarron stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, 12 boards, 6 assists, two steals and three blocks.

Illawarra young gun Lachlan Olbrich also added 31 points, 12 rebounds and a pair of blocks in the rout.

NBL title winning guard Shaun Bruce, narrowly missed out on a triple-double for Logan Thunder over the weekend.

The Thunder recorded two wins in Round 5 of the NBL1 West, and Bruce finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in the victory over North Gold Coast.

Currently unsigned NBL veteran Majok Deng earned Foot Locker Player of the Week honours for NBL1 courtesy of averaging 35 points per game across both wins alongside Bruce.

Adelaide's Jason Cadee also came within touching distance of a triple-double of his own.

The veteran guard had 32 points, eight reboundsand nine assists against Southern Districts. Melbourne's Tanner Krebs added 13 points, four rebounds and five assists in the win.

Kouat Noi marked his return to USC Rip City with a bang, however his efforts weren't enough to lead his side to victory - as they fell to a Northside team led by NBL free agents Lual Diing and Andrew White III.

Noi recorded game-highs in both points (34) and rebounds (15), while Diing and White combined for 55 points between them.

Angus Glover and Owen Foxwell proved too strong for Melbourne's Campbell Blogg and unsigned free agent Dane Pineau in NBL1 South.

Glover finished the game with 20 points while Foxwell added 21 for the Eltham Wildcats in the win.

Sabres captain Blogg scored 18 points, and Pineau ended the contest just one rebounds shy of a 20-20 performance.

He ended the game with 22 points and 19 rebounds.
