NBLxNBL1 Wrap (April 12): Marshall Stars for Pioneers

Over the Easter weekend, NBL1 Central, South and West teams took to the court, with NBL players having impactful performances.

Adelaide 36ers’ Nick Marshall starred for the Mt Gambier Pioneers. Marshall scored himelf the South's Round 1 Player of the Week as he top-scored with 32 points against the Sandringham Sabres. In his second match-up against the Nunawading Spectres, he scored 28 point with six rebounds and six assists.

Marshall racked up an average of 30 points, six rebounds and four steals per game in Round 1.

Anthony Drmic top scored for the West Adelaide Bearcats with 26 points and six rebounds, whilst teammate Mitch McCarron scored 13 points against the Panthers.

Zac Gattorna was a dunking king for the Buccaneers and put down 12 points for his team against the Perth Redbacks.
