All four NBL players from the East made an impact over the weekend, but a young Phoenix gun was the standout.

South East Melbourne Phoenix’s young guard Junior Madut scored 30 points in Round 2 for the Norths Bears.

Illawarra's William Hickey led the Hawks to a massive 43-point win on Saturday.

In the second round of the season, the Hawks are placed first on the ladder with a 2-0 record, with Norths Bears and Sydney Comets closely following.
