Isaac White, Todd Blanchfield and Akech Aliir were among the standout NBL players in the NBL1.
NBL players were showcasing their skills across the NBL1 this week, delivering standout performances for their respective teams.
Michael Harris had a scorching weekend for the Frankston Blues in NBL1 South. After a solid 20-point, 6-rebound, and 5-assist outing against Knox, Harris exploded for 36 points and 7 rebounds in a dominant win over Kilsyth. Fellow 36er Isaac White also lit up the scoreboard for the Rockingham Flames in NBL1 West, pouring in 36 points to go with 7 rebounds and 4 assists against Joondalup. Young gun Keanu Rasmussen showed his promise for West Adelaide Bearcats in NBL1 Central with an impressive 30-point, 10-rebound double-double against North Adelaide.
Akech Aliir was a force for the Mount Gambier Pioneers in NBL1 South, recording two monster double-doubles. Aliir posted 16 points and 13 rebounds against Ballarat, before backing it up with an even more impressive 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists against Bendigo, leading his team to two victories.
Todd Blanchfield showcased his veteran experience with a strong 27-point, 11-rebound double-double against Hills, while teammate Kobe McDowell-White also had a high-scoring game with 30 points for the Hawks.
Tanner Krebs was instrumental for the Ringwood Hawks in NBL1 South, consistently delivering on the offensive end. He kicked off his weekend with 21 points and 5 rebounds against Hobart and followed up with another 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists in a win over NW Tasmania.
The Knox Raiders saw strong contributions from their NBL-listed players. Brody Nunn had a standout 25-point performance against Frankston, while Sunday Dech provided steady play across two victories for Knox, including a 21-point, 6-rebound, 3-assist game against Waverley.
These performances underscore the depth of talent within Australian basketball and the valuable role the NBL1 plays in developing and showcasing NBL stars, offering fans thrilling basketball action nationwide.
