NBL1 starts this weekend

NBL1 basketball is back this weekend, as conferences around the country begin their seasons.

As the NBL24 season continues to careen to its conclusion, NBL1 conferences all across the country are preparing to boot up once again, and the action will tip off this weekend with the opening round of the Central division.

The reigning men’s champion West Adelaide Bearcats will be in action on Saturday night against the Woodville Warriors, while the women’s champion Norwood Flames will hit the court for the first time this season on Sunday.

While Central is the only conference kicking off its season this weekend, it’s not long before NBL1 is back all over the country.

The new season of NBL1 West hoops will kick off next week on Thursday, March 28, while the South and East conferences will get underway on April 3 and April 6 respectively.

Reigning national champions Knox will open their season against Sandringham at 8pm on the conference’s opening night.

Finally, the NBL1 North will begin on April 11.
