NBL Oz Gaming has traded Sick One to Knicks Gaming.

NBL Oz Gaming thanks Jerry ‘Sick One’ Knapp for his contributions throughout the team’s historic debut season, as he provided leadership and experience to the NBA 2K League's newest team.

The team today traded Knapp to Knicks Gaming in a deal for Xavier ‘Type’ Vescovi.

Knapp’s move to New York will see him be closer to his young family.

Sick One was a key piece in the NBL’s inaugural squad, as they made a remarkable run to the Championship game.

“I’d really like to take a second to thank NBL, they took a chance and traded for me last season,” Sick One said.

“It made my time representing Australia fun and easy, and showed me you guys truly care about family before anything else.”

Sick One’s efforts this season scored himself a position on the All-Star squad for the Eastern Conference in the NBA 2K League All-Star game.

“I loved playing for the Roos and all my teammates. I really appreciate the team looking out for me and sending me home, but this team will always be my second home and I can’t wait to visit Australia one day,” he said.

Sick One also acknowledged the coaching of Mitchell ‘Mootyy’ Franklin.

“Mooty went out of his way and made a trade I asked for happen no matter the situation, and I’ll always be grateful. It’s bigger than the game” Knapp said.
