NBL Oz Gaming Go 1-1 in Playoff Double Header

NBL Oz Gaming split a Playoff double-header on the second day of the NBA 2K League 3v3 Playoffs against Dux Infinitos and Blazer5 Gaming.

In the first game of the double header, Dux Infinitos took the lead and won 3-0 in a sweep.

Their first loss in the Playoffs resulted in a second game on Friday against Blazer5 Gaming. NBL bounced back from their earlier defeat to record a 3-1 victory.

NBL Oz Gaming advance to play Pistons GT on Saturday at 10:30am AEST.

Game 1

Score: L, 20-22

Top-scorer: Jyden, 13 points

Dux Infinitos started off strong, with NBL trailing not far behind them. Top-scorer Jyden led the team with necessary buckets to keep the margin within reach.

An unfortunate miss from Jyden meant Dux Infinitos secured the first win of the series.

Game 2

Score: L, 21-23

Top-scorer: Jyden, 14 points

Another loss for NBL Oz Gaming saw their opposition take a crucial win for a strong 2-0 start.

DjayTooCold was a powerhouse for NBL in Game 2, as his rebounding was a positive for the squad.

Game 3

Score: L, 16-21

Top-scorer: Jyden, 8 points

Turnovers was the NBL’s main deficiency in Game 3. Dux Infinitos proved they were hungrier, winning the series in three straight games.

Top-scorer: Jyden, 9 points

Suffering a series loss earlier, NBL took the win for their first game against Blazer5 Gaming.

Contribution was seen across the whole team with Lawrich recording threes, DjayTooCold rebounding and Jyden dominating the court.

DjayTooCold scored a massive three-pointer to start the game and got NBL off on the right foot.

Two-point shots were the biggest advantage for NBL Oz Gaming in Game 2, as they claimed a 7-point win.

Blazer5 Gaming were quick to change their strategy over the strong NBL and they recorded a victory to extend the series.

Game 4

Top-scorer: Jyden, 14 points

A massive 3-1 series win for the NBL was secured with a 21-18 victory. Jyden was rolling through the game with huge dunks and threes that delivered.
