424-game veteran Jason Cade believes Torrey Craig is going to be a 'seamless fit' for the Sydney Kings.

The last time Torrey Craig laced them up in an NBL game, the American tallied 30 points and 18 rebounds for the Brisbane Bullets.

Since then, the forward has chalked up 538 appearances in the NBA with Denver, Phoenix, Chicago, Indiana, Milwaukee and Boston.

That professional career will, as he called it, “come full-circle” on Thursday when he suits up for the Sydney Kings in their Round 18 clash with Tasmania at Qudos Bank Arena.

One person who believes the addition of Craig will help the Kings on their championship tilt is 424-game veteran Jason Cadee.

“The one thing he will give them is, he's always been a good athlete, understands basketball and is a great guy. He'll fit seamlessly into what they do, and we know he'll defend,” Cadee said on Thursday’s episode of NBL Now.

“We know he’s someone that Brian Goorjian will love.

“[In saying that] I'm not looking for Torrey to come out tonight and be incredible. Like Ian Clark, give him a few games, let him find a rhythm, get his legs underneath him, and they'll see the benefits as they roll into finals.

“He knows the travel, he knows the venues, and he still would know some of the personnel around, so that makes his transition easier.

“The other part is the fact that he's older, and he's not here trying to prove something. He's here because he loves and wants to play basketball. He loves Australia, and he's got a chance to go and win something.

“He’s not a 24-year-old kid who's out here to try and put up numbers, rather [a 35-year-old] who can help them achieve what they’re trying to do.”

Thursday’s Round 18 fixture between Sydney and Tasmania tips off at 7.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN, with the Perth versus Cairns fixture to follow at 9.30pm AEDT.
