The Brisbane Bullets have rounded out their roster, with the signing of import Devondrick Walker.
Walker had a standout season in the NBL1, named NBL1 West MVP and selected in the All Star Five, averaging 27 points as the NBL1 West leading scorer, to go with 5.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.9 steals.
The 30-year-old helped the Rockingham Flames to the NBL1 West Championship, claiming Grand Final MVP honours.
Standing at 196 centimetres, Walker has featured in the NBL previously. He signed with the Perth Wildcats in the 2017/2018 season, but suffered a foot injury which restricted him from playing.
In 2019/20, Walker joined the South East Melbourne Phoenix midway through the season, averaging 7.4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
Walker previously spent four seasons in the NBA G-League, named Most Improved Player in the 2016/2017 season, before plying his trade in Italy, France, Australia, New Zealand and Latvia.
He also competed at NBA Summer League with the Utah Jazz in 2017 and Philadelphia 76ers in 2018.
“Devondrick’s past NBL experience is a key reason for adding him to our roster. He understands the league and his shooting will help space the floor for us to be more effective,” General Manager of Basketball Sam Mackinnon told the club's website.

Bullets coach James Duncan said Walker complemented an already exciting roster.
“Devondrick’s length, athleticism and ability to stretch the floor are key attributes that will help our squad,” coach James Duncan said.
“We’re eager to have him join the group and start building chemistry ahead of the season.”
Walker is looking forward to getting to Brisbane and joining the squad.
“I’m definitely excited for the opportunity. (I'm) looking forward to getting a fresh start with a hungry group of guys,” he said.
“Outside of my athletic ability, that led me to this moment. Bullets fans can expect a positive mindset, winning mentality, and constant desire to get better.”
Devondrick Walker joins Aron Baynes, Tyler Johnson, Nathan Sobey, Jason Cadee, Tyrrell Harrison, Tanner Krebs, DJ Mitchell, Harry Froling, Kody Stattmann, Gorjok Gak and development player Lual Diing on the Brisbane Bullets 2022/23 roster.
