The 36ers have smashed the attendance record for an NBL game in South Australia, as 9,263 fans packed into the Adelaide Entertainment Centre to watch a thriller against the Brisbane Bullets on Thursday night.
It surpasses the previous record of 9,071, set in Round 6 against the Perth Wildcats, and is the fourth time this season Adelaide has seen a crowd of more than 8,000 fans through the gates.

You all make the difference and we love going to war for you all! See you next week ?</p>— Antonius Cleveland (@ac_uno1) <a href="https://twitter.com/ac_uno1/status/1608447996102053888?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 29, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
The 36ers have now won their last four games, with interest set to grow further with a home double-header weekend against Illawarra and New Zealand across January 6 and 8 respecitvely.
The record-setting numbers for Adelaide are indicative of a surge in crowds this season, with the NBL seeing a 25 per cent increase across all clubs.
Brisbane, Melbourne, South East Melbourne and Tasmania have also welcomed sell-out crowds already this year.
