Ellis Biggar

The 6'10, 23-year-old centre has worked hard for the chance to be signed as a development player with the South East Melbourne Phoenix for NBL26.

Was a training player with the Phoenix previously but always shown tremendously potential coming through the ranks of Victorian basketball and started his career in the NBL1 South.

First played for two seasons at the Dandenong Rangers including 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in his 19 games of 2022 before joining the Nunawading Spectres.

In that 2024 season, he had 4.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in over 14 minutes a game before joining the Melbourne Tigers before injury ended that 2025 season before it started.

But with good signs and a dedication to working hard, will look to make the most of whatever chances comes his way with the Phoenix.
