Angus Glover, Elijah Pepper and a trio of 36ers recruits were among the standout players in the NBL1.
NBL players were showcasing their skills across the NBL1 this week, delivering standout performances for their respective teams.
Adelaide 36ers guard Michael Harris had a blistering weekend for the Frankston Blues in NBL1 South, starting with a 35-point, 5-rebound, 3-assist effort against Casey. He followed that up with another dominant performance, dropping 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists against Bendigo. Teammate Isaac White also impressed for the Rockingham Flames in NBL1 West with 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists against SW Slammers.
Matt Kenyon, now with the 36ers, delivered a standout performance for the Logan Thunder in NBL1 North, grabbing a massive 19 rebounds to go with 18 points and 4 assists against Gold Coast.
Perth Wildcats' Elijah Pepper was a consistent force for the Warwick Senators in NBL1 West. He ignited for 32 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals against Cockburn, then delivered 29 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists against Perth. Wildcats teammate Sunday Dech had a productive weekend for the Knox Raiders (NBL1 South), tallying 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists against Geelong, followed by 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists against Dandenong. Todd Withers showed his versatility for Warwick, with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals against Cockburn, then backed it up with 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 assists against Perth.
South East Melbourne Phoenix’s Angus Glover was in strong form for the Ringwood Hawks (NBL1 South), scoring 23 points with 6 rebounds against Nunawading, then erupting for 30 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists against Dandenong. Akech Aliir added a double-double for Mount Gambier with 26 points and 11 rebounds against Geelong.
Melbourne United Next Star Dash Daniels also made his presence felt, finishing with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in a strong outing for Sandringham against Ballarat.
Sydney Kings players made their presence felt. Jaylin Galloway capped off his weekend for Bankstown Bruins (NBL1 East) with a 34-point, 6-rebound game against BA CoE, following a solid 15-point effort earlier in the round. Kouat Noi exploded for 34 points and 8 rebounds for the Sutherland Sharks against Sydney. Jason Spurgin was huge on the boards, collecting 12 rebounds (with 3 blocks) against Sydney, then adding 15 boards and 22 points against Manly Warringah. Keli Leaupepe was consistent for Knox Raiders with 24 points and 8 rebounds against Geelong, and 23 points and 6 rebounds against Dandenong. Tyler Robertson also stood out for Casey Cavaliers with 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Tasmania's Archie Woodhill added 10 points and 4 rebounds for North West Thunder. Brody Nunn (Knox Raiders) contributed 17 points against Geelong, while Nicholas Stoddart (Ballarat Miners) had a key 24-point performance against Sandringham.
Dillon Stith (Cairns Taipans) scored 22 points with 8 rebounds and 7 assists for Kilsyth.
