NBL talent named among Indigenous All Stars

NBL24 rostered players Will Hickey, Biwali Bayles and Kian Dennis will be in action for the Indigenous men's All Stars Team against Sacramento State’s NCAA D1 team on Tuesday, June 11.

The IBA (Indigenous Basketball Australia) All Stars Team will also feature NBL champion Nathan Jawai, as well as some of the NBL1's best Indigenous talent. 

The event is part of IBA’s program to showcase Indigenous basketball talent and introduce the Sacramento State team to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

"The NBL is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in sports," NBL CEO David Stevenson said.

"Partnering with IBA for the Indigenous All Star Game is an important initiative that aligns with our values and goals.

"We look forward to a successful event that will inspire, educate and unite communities."

The game will be live-streamed on NBL.com.au and the NBL App from 7pm AEST on Tuesday, June 11.
