Marshall hungry for more success

"I’m learning a lot and already getting better."
New Tasmania signing Nick Marshall, is hoping that his recent off-season championship with the Welington Saints in the NZNBL will inspire his NBL26 campagin.
“Definitely excited to be here. It was nice to get the win in New Zealand and finish the season like that,” Marshall told JackJumpers Media.
The Saints won 88-83 over the Southland Sharks, with Marshall scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
Signing on with the JackJumpers in April, Marshall’s main objective was to succeed like former championship JackJumper Jack McVeigh, who went onto play in the NBA. And that mindset has started to take shape in his first week with the club.
“It's been amazing. We got a great group with great coaches. It's been a fun week this week, I’m learning a lot and already getting better," he said.
“The message is just bring it every day at practice and kind of go from there, and then my role will kind of depend what the team needs and on any night, that could be different, everyone will step up in a different way.
“Keep growing, keep learning, soak it all in, bring it everyday and see where it can take me and this group,” he said.
the JackJumpers' first game of NBL26 begins Thursday, September 18 against Melbourne United at home.
