Talking points
Phoenix form slump
After opening the season with a convincing road win against Perth, the Phoenix have suffered three losses in a row.
The last two, in particular, have been characterised by poor shooting, with the Phoenix hitting 33.3 per cent from the field and just 18.6 per cent from downtown.
If the Phoenix are going to end their three-game skid, they will need to turn their shooting around in a big way.
Building on first win
The Hawks bounced back in impressive fashion on Friday, smashing last season's runners-up Adelaide to open their NBL27 account.
The hallmark of that win was their ball movement, recording 33 assists, which is 13 more than in any other game this campaign.
This unselfishness allowed five players to score in double figures, with that balanced approach looming as key for Justin Tatum's side moving forward.
