Talking points

Adelaide's response

The 36ers come into this Round 3 clash on the back of their heaviest defeat of NBL27, in which coach Trevor Gleeson called it "it looked like a men's team playing against a kids team out there."

The catalyst for that loss was the Sixers' slow start and defence, in which they conceded 65 points to the Hawks in just 20 minutes of action.

Returning home, where they haven't lost this season, expect the Sixers to make a statement and do all they can to return to the winner's circle.

Can anyone stop PJC?

Superstar guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright has arguably been one of the best, if not the best, players through the opening two rounds of NBL27.

He is averaging a career-high 26.5 points (more than six points above his previous best), which is tied for the second-highest mark in the League with six-time MVP Bryce Cotton, who he will come up against on Sunday.

Not only that, he is currently second in assists (9.5), highlighting his importance to the Breakers' offence as they attempt to record their first away win of NBL27.
