Hawks Add More Depth

350-game veteran Tim Coenraad will return to the Illawarra Hawks for a 14th season, after being signed as an injury replacement player.

Coenraad adds further experience to the Hawks' roster, after Kevin White was also locked in to cover for Dan Grida (hamstring).

The 37-year-old played for Illawarra's NBL1 East side throughout the off-season, playing a leading role in the team's run to the semi-finals.

He is set to join the Hawks in Darwin today, as Jacob Jackomas' team prepares for its opening match of the NBL Blitz.

Illawarra begins its three-game Hungry Jack's NBL Blitz campaign on Sunday evening against Melbourne United, with tip-off at 7.30pm.
