Three-time NBL champion Corey Webster could be headed to Adelaide, with Fox Sports reporting the 36ers are turning to the proven sharpshooter amid a growing injury crisis.

The 286-game veteran Tall Blacks guard hasn't featured in the NBL since his stint with the Perth Wildcats in 2024, but he showed he can still score in his most recent NZNBL season, averaging 18.7 points across 10 games for the Manawatu Jets.

Over his NBL career, Webster has averaged 11.2 points a game while shooting 35.8 per cent from beyond the arc.

The 36ers are currently without Flynn Cameron (ankle), who is expected back in Round 5, while Isaac Humphries (knee) and Bul Kuol (ACL) have no confirmed return dates.

Webster's potential arrival comes at a key moment for the 36ers, who are 2-3 and sit seventh on the ladder after a winless Round 3 that included losses to the Illawarra Hawks and New Zealand Breakers.

Fox Sports understands Webster could be available as early as Wednesday night, when Adelaide meets Melbourne United in the Ignite Cup.
