Bullets to Meet Hawks in Opening Round of Hungry Jack's NBL Season

The Brisbane Bullets will play The Hawks at Nissan Arena this Saturday January 16 in the opening round of the 2020-21 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season.

It will be the first game of the season for both clubs with master coach Brian Goorjian making his long awaited NBL return as Head Coach of the Hawks who have also been bolstered by the addition of NBA talent Justinian Jessup and Deng Adel.

The Bullets under Head Coach Andrej Lemanis will begin their campaign to return to the NBL Finals this season, with all eyes on former Orlando Magic wing Vic Law and their other stars including Nathan Sobey and Harry Froling.

Capacity at the venue will be capped at 50 per cent in accordance with public health directions. The Brisbane Bullets are working with the venue and their members and fans on seating arrangements for this Saturday’s game.

NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said: “We are delighted to be able to confirm this Saturday’s game in Brisbane. It will be great to have the NBL back in Brisbane and to be able to have fans live in venue for what should be a fantastic game to help open the new season.”

The game will tip-off at 4.30pm (5.30pm AEDT) and be broadcast live on SBS VICELAND, SBS on Demand, SKY Sport and Twitch.
