Basketball World Reacts to Historic Win

The Adelaide 36ers created history on Monday, becoming the first NBL team to defeat an NBA team after shocking the Phoenix Suns 134-124.

The NBA championship contenders weren't taking it easy in the pre-season game, with superstars Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton all playing significant minutes. Phoenix finished the last NBA regular season in top spot with a 64-18 record.

Adelaide shot the lights out connecting on a remarkable 24 three-pointers. Craig Randall II led the way with 35 points - the most ever scored by an NBL player in a NBLxNBA game.

The basketball world took note of the 36ers, with Twitter exploding with praise for CJ Bruton’s squad.
