The Adelaide 36ers have been dealt a huge blow on the eve of the Hungry Jack's NBL27 Season.
Star duo John Jenkins and Isaac Humphries will both miss the team's season-opener against Melbourne United at John Cain Arena.
As revealed by Trevor Gleeson during his Friday media availability and first reported by 9 News Adelaide's Will Crouch, sharpshooting import Jenkins (back) and big man Humphries (knee) both won't suit up for the Round 1 clash.
Humphries' ongoing knee issue also kept him out of the CODE Sports NBL Blitz in Bendigo.
The Sixers' fixture with United tips off at 7:30pm AEST, live on ESPN, 9Go! and 9Now.
