Under the Surface is the newest podcast from the NBL. Join professional basketballer Anneli Maley as she dives into players' stories, experiences and struggles to find out who they are underneath basketball.

As a Boomer and former NBA talent Mitch Creek was the marquee signing for the newly minted South East Melbourne Phoenix ahead of their inclusion in the competition in 2019. Since then he's become one of the faces of the competition due to his high-fliying antics and explosive style of play.

An entertainer on the court and a fun-loving larrikin off it, Creek dives into his own experiences in professional basketball, the grind to make it onto an NBA court, and his own struggles with self-doubt and mental health.
