NBLxNBL1 Preview (June 30)

Latest Illawarra Hawks’ signing, NBL veteran Todd Blanchfield, and DP Biwali Bayles will go head-to-head on Saturday night. The Gold Coast Rollers play the North Gold Coast Seahawks at 7pm AEST.

Blanchfield has provided major plays for the Rollers in the NBL1 North. He recorded 42 points and 19 rebounds last weekend.

Ipswich Force’s Nathan Sobey, and Jaylin and Kyrin Galloway, will play Darwin Salties reps Sean Macdonald and Makuach Maluach. Tip-off is 7pm AEST.

NBL1 North’s leading scorer Isaac White of the Brisbane Bullets plays strong duo Matt Kenyon and Kouat Noi on Sunday.

The USC Rip City play the Mackay Meteors at 2pm AEST on Sunday.

Macdonald and Maluach have a busy weekend, with another game against Logan Thunder’s Shaun Bruce. The Salties and Thunder play at 3pm AEST on Sunday.

Illawarra Hawks’ William Hickey and Harry Morris take go into a double-header this weekend with matches against the Bankstown Bruins and the Penrith Panthers.

Fellow Hawks’ teammate Mason Peatling in the NBL1 South will go up against Tasmania JackJumpers’ Tre Armstrong. The Knox Raiders play NW Tasmania on Saturday night at 8pm AEST.

South East Melbourne Phoenix’s Ben Ayre and Melbourne United’s Campbell Blogg team up to take on Brisbane's Sam McDaniel.

The Sandringham Sabres play the Hobart Chargers on Sunday at 2:30pm AEST.

Second on the ladder, Brad Newley and the Frankston Blues will be fighting to maintain their ladder position. The veteran goes into a double-header to play Geelong United and the Kilsyth Cobras.

United’s Malith Machar will line up for the Forestville Eagles against Central’s West Adelaide Bearcat NBL trio, Lachlan Olbrich, Mitch McCarron, and Anthony Drmic.

They play on Saturday at 6:15pm ACST.
