36ers focused on free agency
Adelaide 36ers CEO Nic Barbato says the club is already planning for the free agency period.
“Free agency is going to roll around in two months' time. All of the work needs to be done now to ensure we are ready when that starts,” Barbato said via ESPN.
Overseas interest in Law
The West Australian has revealed Russian club Unics Kazan tried to pry Vic Law out of Perth in February.
“That wasn’t really an option for me. I want to focus on where I’m at right now and continue to win. As you can see I am 100 per cent locked in to playing right now,” Law told The West Australian’s The Dribble podcast.
Forde puts Majok on blast
Adam Forde challenged Majok Deng to become more of a rebounding force after dropping him from the starting line-up in Sunday’s loss to Sydney.
“I challenged him in a couple of key areas that have nothing to do with his shooting. I blasted him after the Tasmania game about his one offensive rebound – he comes out against Sydney and gets eight rebounds for us in less than 26 minutes,” Forde said via the Cairns Post.
Hawks to bottle second half effort
Illawarra Hawks captain AJ Ogilvy says the club needs to deliver their strong second half performances on a more consistent basis.
“The intensity and effort we've produced in the second halves against both Phoenix and the JackJumpers is what we have to keep delivering now,” Ogilvy wrote in the Illawarra Mercury.
