Morrison focuses on footy
Perth Wildcats coach Scott Morrison has revealed he will be studying the AFL to see if he can learn anything from the sport to implement into basketball.
“I’m turning my attention now to AFL and trying to learn the rules there and I’m sure there’s going to be stuff with spacing and pace that maybe we can take from it. We will see,” Morrison said via The West Australian’s The Dribble podcast.
Height no issue for Wildcats: Law
Perth star Vic Law says effort, not a lack of height, is the problem behind the Wildcats’ rebounding issues.
"I love this narrative that we’re not that big, but we’re the same size as every team. We just haven’t rebounded yet…Scott’s been on me this week about blocking out and making sure a lot of the guys I’m on aren’t flying in there or crashing,” Law said via The West Australian.
Creek reveals intense recovery methods

Bullets not far off
Brisbane Bullets import Robert Franks says the club can still turn their season around and make a run to the finals.
“I don’t think we’re far off, or anything like hitting a panic button. It’s just the little things we have to turn around to get the ball rolling in the right direction,” Franks said via the Courier Mail.
Hawks searching for full game performance
Illawarra Hawks captain AJ Ogilvy says the team is still searching for a full 40-minute performance this season.
“There was plenty to like about our victory over the Taipans, but we know we're still well below our best. We're an incredibly talented basketball team, but we still haven't put a complete game together,” Ogilvy wrote in the Illawarra Mercury.
