Hawks Sign Akoldah Gak

The Hawks have announced Akoldah Gak will be joining the club on a three-year deal. The club is invested in Gak's future, signing him as a development player for the first year and a contracted player for the remaining two years of his contract.

Sydney-born Gak is currently ranked 96th in the ESPN Top 100 for high school basketball rankings making him one of the most talented prospects in the world.
The Penrith Basketball Junior represented NSW in multiple Junior State Teams and has most recently attended Blair Academy.
The power forward has a strong basketball pedigree with two of his siblings playing in Division 1 College Basketball at Cal Baptist and the University of Miami.
Hawks Head Coach Brian Goorjian stated, “I am very excited for Akoldah to join the team. He is a great young talent with a bright future, and we’ve got big plans for his development.”
Gak joins Deng Adel, Tyler Harvey, Cameron Bairstow, AJ Ogilvy, Justinian Jessup, Sam Froling, Justin Simon, Daniel Grida, Max Darling, Emmett Naar, Isaac White and Deng Deng for the upcoming NBL 20/21 season.
