We Will Remember Them. Lest We Forget.

The Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) honours Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.

“ANZAC Day will always be one of the most important days on the calendar in Australia and New Zealand. We pause to remember the sacrifice of our service men and women, who fought for us to live freely,” NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said.

“We remember those who were lost in battle and those who battled so valiantly for all of our futures and freedoms, when they displayed incredible acts of selflessness and bravery.

“We recognise and honour their legacy of courage, equality, endurance and mateship, and remain forever indebted to the men and women who served, and who serve today.”

We will remember them. Lest we forget.
