Taipans, Bullets eye NBL25 blockbusters

Brisbane is set for a return to an old home, while the Taipans look ahead to Boxing Day hoops.

The Cairns Taipans will host Melbourne United on Boxing Day, the club has confirmed, as teams continue to tease their NBL25 fixtures.

The full schedule will drop on Friday morning at 8am AEST, with Adam Forde's team set to play their second straight fixture on the Christmas public holiday.

Queensland rivals the Brisbane Bullets will tip off their return to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre with a clash against the Sydney Kings on October 5, as part of Round 3.

The Kings earlier confirmed they'd host lllawarra at Qudos Bank Arena in Round 2 (September 29), while the South East Melbourne Phoenix will take on Melbourne United in the latest edition of the Throwdown on the same weekend (September 26).

The New Zealand Breakers have announced they'll host a game in Wellington against Sydney on December 7, while Adelaide's first home fixture will be against the Phoenix on October 3 at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

NBL25 will tip off with the HoopsFest tournament in Perth, will all ten teams set for blockbuster games across the one weekend.
