NBLxNBL1 Wrap (July 26)

The Cairns Marlins v Ipswich Force quarter finals contest featured several NBL stars on both ends of the court.

Cairns' Jonah Antonio has been a leader all season for the Marlins and on Saturday night he recorded 42 points, nine rebounds and three assists. 

However, it was the Force's NBL trio of Nathan Sobey, and the Galloway brothers, who got the win. Sobey put down 26 points, eight rebounds and four assists, Jaylin Galloway scored 18 points, four rebounds and one assist, whilst Kyrin Galloway provided 14 points and eight rebounds. 

Shaun Bruce and Majok Deng's Logan Thunder won 81-66 over the Darwin Salties. Bruce scored 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists, whilst Deng recorded 26 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. 

NBL1 South's Eltham Wildcats proceeded to the Semi Finals, with Angus Glover and Owen Foxwell putting up massive efforts over the Waverley Falcons. Glover recorded 14 points, 10 rebounds and two assists, and Foxwell put down nine points and six assists. 

Melbourne United's Brad Newley went up against 36ers' Nick Marshall when the Frankston Blues were defeated by the Mt Gambier Pioneers. Newley scored 23 points, six rebounds and three assists, and Marshall recorded 34 points, six rebounds and four assists.

Sydney Comets' Wani Swaka Lo Buluk had a double header last weekend, with 25 points and nine rebounds over the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence, and nine points and seven rebounds over the Norths Bears. 

The Bears' Junior Madut put down 19 points with two rebounds and two assists.
