Former Sydney King and All-NBL First Team Jae'Sean Tate had his team option declined by the Houston Rockets but has since re-signed with a significant increase on salary on a new three-year deal according to Shams Charania.

Tate was a standout for the Rockets last season, playing 78 games and averaging 11.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

Jock Landale is bound for Atlanta after being included in the deal that sent Dejounte Murray from the San Antonio Spurs to Atlanta.

After limited playing time early in his rookie season, Landale finished the year strong with a career-high 26 points coming against Indiana in March.

Joe Ingles will make his return to the court with the Milwaukee Bucks after agreeing to a one-year deal. Ingles suffered a torn ACL which ended his season with the Utah Jazz before he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in February.

Boomers star Patty Mills declined his player option with the Brooklyn Nets but he isn't going anywhere, after agreeing to a new two-year deal with the team according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

In coaching news, former Boomers and Sydney Kings/North Melbourne Giants head coach Brett Brown is returning to the San Antonio Spurs, joining Gregg Popovich's staff as an assistant where his career in the NBA started back in 2007.

Brown was most recently the head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers from 2013-2020.
