NBL players are front and centre, suiting up for a multitude of teams across the NBL1.
Jason Cadee’s fantastic NBL1 form continued with a 26-point, seven-rebound and five-assist performance for Gold Coast on the weekend. 36ers youngster Nick Marshall also showed his potential, as he recorded 21 points against Kilsyth and 25 points and 14 rebounds against Diamond Valley.
Another Sixer who starred on the weekend was Alex Starling, who amassed an incredible seven steals, alongside 29 points and eight rebounds, against Sturt.
In an exciting development for Brisbane fans, new signing Kye Savage showcased his capabilities with 38 points against Newcastle. He also had 17 points and seven rebounds against Hornsby, capping off a strong weekend for the COE star.
Bullets veteran Mitch Norton was on triple-double watch during his Southern Districts commitments this weekend, recording 18 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists against North Gold Coast. He followed that up with 30 points, seven rebounds and five assists against Darwin.
Tyrell Harrison’s power was on full display with 31 points and eight rebounds against North Gold Coast and 29 points and 12 rebounds against Darwin.
Akoldah Gak had an impressive weekend for the Bearcats, scoring 32 points against the Lions before doubling-up with 23 points and 13 rebounds against the Mavericks.
William Hickey’s stat-stuffing season for the Bandits continued, as he had 21 points, nine rebounds, eight assists and seven steals against the Falcons.
The experience of Todd Blanchfield was also on full display with a 33-point effort against the Sunshine Coast.
It is expected Tanner Krebs could have a big role in Melbourne United’s season, and his NBL1 form is indicating that, after having 26 points and 14 rebounds against Hobart and 18 points and nine rebounds against North West Tasmania.
Matt Kenyon was a beast on the boards against Northside, pulling down 18 rebounds alongside a healthy 20 points.
A pair of JackJumpers had massive numbers across the weekend, with Gorjok Gak (28 points vs Perth, 29 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks vs Geraldton) and Fabijan Krslovic (15 points, 15 rebounds vs Central Districts, 21 points, 18 rebounds vs Eastern Mavericks) shining.
