NBA calling for Kings star Craig

Sydney star Torrey Craig looks primed for a return to the NBA, but not before helping the Kings realise their Championship goals.

Already a veteran of more than 500 NBA games, Craig has revealed he and his management are in talks for a post-season move back to the States.

“We’re talking to some NBA teams right now,” Craig told CODE Sports.

“Part of the reason why I came here to Sydney was to showcase playing good basketball at this age and to show that I can still play in the NBA.

“But for now I’m focused on the Kings first and whatever comes after that, comes after that.

“I just want to make sure that we win a championship.”

Craig was one of the Kings’ best in their Game 1 victory over the Wildcats, scoring 20 points to go with 9 rebounds and 3 assists.

Sydney travels to Perth on Saturday night for Game 2 of the Playoff Series, with tip-off from 8pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
