Bullets Appoint New Interim Coach

The Brisbane Bullets have confirmed Greg Vanderjagt has taken over as interim head coach of the side due to Sam Mackinnon’s desire to solely focus on his role as General Manager of Basketball.

Vanderjagt has been an assistant with the Bullets since 2020. He played a decade of NBL basketball during his career – mostly for the Townsville Crocodiles.

Mackinnon initially took the interim role due to the departure of former coach James Duncan. In his time as coach Mackinnon led the Bullets to a 1-3 record.

Vanderjagt will take charge of the side for the first time on Wednesday night when the Bullets travel to Cairns to play the Taipans.
