Australians in the NBA - Green helps Dallas to easy win

Green contributed a handy 14 points behind Kyrie Irving (24) as an injury-hit Mavs still strolled to a 139-103 win.
Australians Josh Green and Duop Reath laid on 30 points between them, but it was the former who got bragging rights as the Dallas Mavericks comfortably accounted for the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA.
Forward Green contributed a handy 14 points behind Australian-born Kyrie Irving (24) as an injury-hit Mavs still strolled to a 139-103 win.
Reath dropped 16 points for the struggling Trail Blazers who sit second to last in the East. The Mavs are sixth.
Meanwhile Josh Giddey's 13 points weren't nearly enough for Oaklahoma City Thunder against the New York Nets.
The Thunder struggled to get into the contest and found themselves 28 points down at the main break before a second-half rally got them to within nine points, ultimately going down 124-115.
Spencer Dinwiddie and Nic Claxton each scored 23 points for the Nets who snapped a five-game losing streak.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 34 points, nine assists and six rebounds for Oklahoma City. The Thunder have dropped two straight after a five-game winning streak.
Elsewhere, Tyrese Haliburton had 18 of Indiana's franchise-record 50 assists and the Pacers routed the Atlanta Hawks 150-116.
Haliburton, the NBA assists leader at 12.8 per game, also had 10 points and eight rebounds in just over 25 minutes. Myles Turner led Indiana with 27 points, Bennedict Mathurin had 18, Bruce Brown 17 and Aaron Nesmith 15.
Paolo Banchero hit a pair of go-ahead free throws with 9.7 seconds remaining and had his first career triple-double to help short-handed Orlando beat Denver 122-120.
Banchero finished with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. He hit four free throws in the last 34.6 seconds in a game where the Magic trailed by 18 points in the third quarter. Jamal Murray had a chance to tie the game but his 10-foot shot rimmed out at the buzzer.
In Boston Jayson Tatum scored 30 points and hit five three-pointers to help NBA-leading Boston run past Utah for their seventh victory in eight games.
In other games, the Western Conference-leading Minnesota beat Houston 122-95, Jalen Brunson hit four three-pointers and scored 29 points to lead New York past Philadelphia 128-92, the Suns beat Miami 113 to 97 while Cleveland, Chicago and the LA Clippers all enjoyed wins.
