Komoroski is a former CEO and now Senior Advisor of Rock Entertainment Group (REG), the umbrella entity of the teams and venues that are part of Cavaliers’ Chairman Dan Gilbert’s Rock Family of Companies which includes the Cleveland Cavaliers, the AHL Cleveland Monsters, the NBA G League Charge, as well as the operation of Rocket Arena in Cleveland and the Cleveland Clinic Courts, the Cavaliers’ training and development centre.
With more than 40 years of experience in pro sports and entertainment, including a 19-year stint as CEO of REG and the Cavaliers, Komoroski's leadership has helped set a solid business foundation from which the group has flourished into one of the successfully operated sports and entertainment entities in the USA.
Komoroski previously played a leadership role for business operations and business-related endeavours for Gilbert’s development interests in downtown Cleveland and throughout the region. He also is the Chairman/Managing Partner of the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League – a Major League Baseball Partner League. In addition, he is a minority partner and Director for Sheffield United of the English Football League.
Komoroski also served as the Senior Vice President and Chief of Business Operations with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles (1996-2003), the Senior Vice President and COO of the International Hockey League’s (IHL) Cleveland Lumberjacks (1994-96) and the Vice President of Sales with the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves (1988-1994).
